Problem

The team identified that Sullair Argentina was facing significant challenges in their logistics management:

  • Fragmented processes across multiple disconnected systems

  • Informal communication between departments (phone, email, WhatsApp)

  • Difficulty tracking quotes and freight shipments

  • Scattered customer and supplier information

  • Inability to obtain centralized metrics and analytics

This fragmentation not only affected operational efficiency but also service quality and strategic decision-making.

Research

To thoroughly understand the issues, the team conducted:

  • Interviews with 15 stakeholders from different areas, including logistics, purchasing, IT, and management

  • Detailed mapping of existing processes

  • Analysis of the 5 different systems used in the workflow

  • Identification of specific pain points at each stage of the process

  • Assessment of internal and external user expectations

This phase revealed the complexity of the current ecosystem and allowed the identification of key improvement opportunities, especially in the long-distance freight process.

  • Centralization of all logistics-related processes into a single platform

  • Design of a modular system that would allow gradual integration with existing systems

  • Initial focus on the MVP centered on the logistics module for long-distance freight

  • Definition of an information architecture that logically organized content

  • Establishment of design principles focused on efficiency and clarity

The most significant technical challenge identified was data synchronization between systems, creatively addressing integration limitations.
